What does a national compressed air contract include?
A national contract covers planned preventative maintenance, emergency breakdown response, PSSR compliance management, and centralised reporting across all your UK sites. One contract, one standard, one point of contact.
Can you service compressor brands you don't sell?
Yes. We are brand-agnostic and maintain all major compressed air brands including Atlas Copco, Ingersoll Rand, Boge, and Kaeser alongside our core CompAir, Hydrovane, ABAC, and Champion ranges. Mixed estates are common and we manage them daily.
What is PSSR and do I need a written scheme?
PSSR stands for Pressure Systems Safety Regulations 2000. If your compressed air system operates above 0.5 bar, you are legally required to have a written scheme of examination. Airmech manages the full process: written schemes, scheduled examinations, and HSE coordination. We advise sensibly, we do not provide legal advice.
How quickly can you respond to a compressor breakdown?
Our average emergency response time is under 24 hours across all contracts. For critical production environments, we offer priority response SLAs with defined attendance windows.
Do you cover the whole of the UK?
Yes. We provide national coverage through our direct engineering team and vetted subcontractor network. We currently maintain sites from Scotland to the South Coast, including 30 Costco warehouses and 5 DPD distribution hubs.
